Users of this site are typically Pilots and Aviation enthusiasts, the sector can be designated as General Aviation.

What
This site provides the user with a platform, which enables them to buy, sell, search, and locate items/services aviation related. These items/services can be anything from:
·    Light Aircraft
·    Memorabilia
·    Collectibles
·    Flight paraphanelia
·    Business opportunities
The items are usually second hand or new unused. Airbay does not stock or handle these items, but simply provides a link between the parties that do.

Why
Airbay has been developed to provide its users with a centre point which offers the opportunity to buy, sell, and search for items/services aviation related. The emphasis is on second hand or new unused items but of course it is up to you the user who can be as specific as you wish. Besides being simply a service, Airbay hopes to take innovative steps in aviation, giving its users the chance to experience all forms of flight. Users will be informed about the specifics of this in either aviation publications, or the news letter.  To take advantage all you need to do is be registered with us.

How
How do I register with the Airbay website?
Visit the registration page http://www.airbay.co.uk/registration.php and complete all the details. A buyers account is free, sellers are subject to a small fee depending on how a product is sold.

How do I order products for sale on Airbay?
Once you have found the product you wish to purchase, press the 'Contact Seller' button. You can then contact the seller directly to arrange payment and delivery/collection.

How do I sell products on Airbay?
Once you have registered with Airbay, press the 'I want to Sell' button in your control panel. You will then be taken through the process of selecting the type of advert you require, and to the subsequent payment screen.

What does it cost to sell products on Airbay?
There are 5 payment plans to pick from as a Seller:

Bronze - allows you 30 days, 1 item - FREE!

Silver - allows you 90 days, upto 5 items - at £7.00

Gold - allows you 150 days, and upto  10 items at £10.00

Platinum - allows you 210 days, and upto 25 items at £20.00

Diamond - allows you 360 days, and upto 50 items at £35.00

How do I contact a buyer/seller?
If you are a seller and a buyer as contacted you in the past, you can find an option to get in touch via your control panel. If you are a buyer, once you find a product of interest, press the 'Contact Seller' button on the item's page.

How is Airbay involved in the buying/selling process on the website?
Airbay act solely as an advertiser of aircraft products and memoribillia. We have no responsibility for product descriptions, delivery, or payments.

How do I complain about a buyer/seller?
Please contact info@airbay.co.uk with a full description of your complaint and any documentation that might accompany it

What payment methods are accepted (for advertising products) on Airbay?
At the moment we only accept Paypal, though we are looking to expand payment methods in the future.

Does Airbay handle the payment process between a buyer and seller?
No. It is up to the buyer and seller to agree payment (including terms) and arrange payments for goods

How is personal information submitted to Airbay handled, is my privacy protected?
Airbay will use your information for the purposes of Airbay.co.uk operations, we will not pass your information onto any third parties, without your explicit permission.

What is the wish list system?
The wish list systems let's users keep a look out for new items posted on Airbay. By completing the relevent information, your wish list will be logged and the Airbay website will email you with any items that match what you are looking for.

How do I use the wish list system?
Log in to your user account and select 'Wish List' from the menu options. Complete the fields with relevant information, and press 'add'. The wishlist system works by matching keywords from your list on Airbay advertised products, when it finds a match, it will send you an email.

What is the watch list and how does it work?
The watchlist is there to help you keep a list of items you are interested in, but without having to contact the buyer.

How can I keep track of items I have provisionally ordered from a seller?
Items you have contacted a seller about are detailed in the user control panel.
