How do I register with the Airbay website?
Visit the registration page http://www.airbay.co.uk/registration.php and complete all the details. A buyers account is free, sellers are subject to a small fee depending on how many items they wish to sell.
How do I order products for sale on Airbay?
Once you have found the product you wish to purchase, press the 'Contact Seller' button. You can then contact the seller directly to arrange payment and delivery/collection.
How do I sell products on Airbay?
Once you have registered with Airbay, press the 'I want to Sell' button in your control panel. You will then be taken through the process of selecting the type of advert you require, and to the subsequent payment screen.
What does it cost to sell products on Airbay?
There are 5 payment options to pick from as a Seller:
Bronze - allows you 30 days, 1 item - FREE!
Silver - allows you 90 days, upto 5 items at £7.00
Gold - allows you 150 days, and upto 10 items at £10.00
Platinum - allows you 210 days, and upto 25 items at £20.00
Diamond - allows you 360 days, and upto 50 items at £35.00
If you are a seller and a buyer has contacted you in the past, you can find an option to get in touch via your control panel. If you are a buyer,and once you find a product of interest, press the 'Contact Seller' button on the item's page.
How is Airbay involved in the buying/selling process on the website?
Airbay acts solely as a host for buyer/sellers. We have no responsibility for product descriptions, delivery, or payments.
How do I complain about a buyer/seller?
Please contact info@airbay.co.uk with a full description of your complaint and any documentation that might accompany it.
What payment methods are accepted (for advertising products) on Airbay?
At the moment we only accept Paypal, though we are looking to expand payment methods in the future.
Does Airbay handle the payment process between a buyer and seller?
No, it is up to the buyer and seller to agree payment (including terms) and arrange payments for goods.
How is personal information submitted to Airbay and handled, is my privacy protected?
Airbay will use your information for the purposes of Airbay.co.uk operations, we will not pass your information onto any third parties, without your explicit permission.
What is the wish list system?
The wish list system allows users to keep a look out for new items posted on Airbay. By completing the relevent information, your wish list will be logged and the Airbay website will email you with any items that may match what you are looking for.
How do I use the wish list system?
Log in to your user account and select 'Wish List' from the menu options. Complete the fields with relevant information, and press 'add'. The wishlist system works by matching keywords from your list on Airbay advertised products, when it finds a match, it will send you an email.
What is the watchlist and how does it work?
The watchlist is there to help you keep a list of items you are interested in, but without having to contact the buyer.
How can I keep track of items I have provisionally ordered from a seller?
Items you have contacted a seller about are detailed in the user control panel.
How do I contact a buyer/seller?
